Our trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run. 

There are six main tasks our trustees carry out are to:

1. Ensure the Community Trust is carrying out activities for the public benefit and that we are really making a difference
2. Ensure the Community Trust is complying with our governing document and the law.
3. Act in the Community Trust's best interest 
4. Manage the Community Trust's resources responsibly and to make sure we follow appropriate controls and procedures
5. Act with reasonable care and skill and to make sure the Community Trust knows how to seek advice and to be prepared in case something goes wrong.
6. Ensure the Community Trust is accountable by meeting legal accounting, reporting requirements and complies with the law.
