SKILLS PERFORMANCE CENTRES - TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAMME 2021-22

Our programme is open to all youngsters aged from school Year 1 to Year 7 (U6 - U12) and our SPC's offer a 6 week programme ending with a trial match between different centres. Girls who impress the coaches during the sessions can then be referred onto the FA Regional Female Talent Inclusion Programme. To find out more about it, click the button below:

WHAT ARE THE SKILLS PERFORMANCE CENTRES ALL ABOUT?

Our successful SPC programme is now in its 12th year of operation. The purpose of the Skills Performance Centres is to provide high quality coaching based around the FA 4 corner model which consists of: Technical, Physical, Psychological and Social. Whether you are an ambitious player wanting to make the next step towards becoming a professional or a new-comer, wanting to develop the basics; our Skills Performance Centre has something to offer for everyone.

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE SKILLS PERFORMANCE CENTRE PROGRAMME?

Luton Town's youth section prides itself on the high calibre of its coaching team. By joining one of our centres, you'll receive the same standard of coaching that has helped produce players such as Max Aarons (Norwich City), Jamal Lewis (Newcastle United) or James Justin (Leicester City). No other football club in our region can claim the same level of success in terms of youth development. In addition, over 80 players have been signed by our schoolboy academy through our Skills Performance Centre programme.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST & HOW WILL MY PROGRESS BE MONITORED?

The cost for the current Term 6 is £30.00 which includes 6 practical sessions and one assessment game each term. In addition, each player will receive an End of Term report indicating their progress throughout the term. Players will be shown what their strengths are and how they can improve other parts of their game.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO WELL?

If the coach believes you have shown the right levels of footballing ability and attitude during the term, you will be referred onto the FA Regional Female Talent Inclusion Programme. Players who display outstanding talent can be moved through the programme after only a few weeks if appropriate.
